Shalane Flanagan

She is 33 years old, an American won the New York marathon. Earlier today, American runner Shalane Flanagan has almost ended the drought when she came in second by a few seconds. It was a long Flanagan first marathon, as it made its transition from a star of the track to marathon distance. If this is how it will start, she is sure will be fun to watch for years to come!
